Sebastiana Kalula is an Emeritus Associate Professor and a specialist physician in Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, the director of The Albertina and Walter Sisulu Institute of Ageing in Africa and a Co-Director of the International Longevity Centre South Africa, at the University of Cape Town (UCT). She holds a PhD from UCT and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London. She is a member of the World Health Organisation’s Technical Advisory Group for Measurement, Monitoring and Evaluation of UN Decade of Healthy Ageing. She has published extensively on health and ageing.
