Ms Yuna Cho

Yuna Cho (Yunhwa Jo) has worked as a consultant for the WHO Centre for Health Development in Kobe (WKC) since 2020. She holds a Master of Social Sciences from Hitotsubashi University specialising in the representation of ethnic minorities in the media, and an undergraduate degree from Waseda University including an exchange programme at the School of Public Policy, University College London. Before joining WHO, she was a Japan Outreach Specialist at the United Nations University, and a Field Communications Manager for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders), where she oversaw communications activities for humanitarian medical emergencies in refugee/IDP camps, post-disaster settings, and public health crises.
