Welcome to our new website!

News release

We have successfully migrated to this new platform which is easier to navigate and harmonises with WHO’s websites globally.

“Our new website has great advantages and features,” said Dr Sarah Barber, Director of the WHO Centre for Health Development (WHO Kobe Centre - WKC).

“Accessing our website from mobile phones just got easier. A great new feature is the ‘search’ button which was never possible on the old site. Now, visitors can search by date, topic, or content type (e.g. news, events, research projects, publications, team members).

“Our new, simple URL (https://wkc.who.int/) is now aligned with WHO’s global naming system for its websites,” she said.

WKC constantly strives to keep its website relevant and active, providing new content to visitors. The new site makes it easier for WKC to update and edit content, including multimedia content.

“We expect the better user interface to offer better engagement with viewers, keeping them satisfied and up to date with our community engagements, research activities, and academic collaborations,” said Dr Barber.
