2021 GLOBAL PROGRESS REPORT

Overview

This 2021 global progress report on Implementation of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control is the ninth in the series of reports prepared since the entry into force of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) on 27 February 2005.

While reporting is an obligation for all Parties in accordance with Article 21 of the Convention, it is also an opportunity for the Parties to share information and lessons learnt during their own implementation of the WHO FCTC, as well as to reflect on challenges, needs and implementation barriers.
