Cross-regional study of evidence gaps on unmet needs for health and social care: executive summary
Monitoring universal health coverage in ageing populations
Overview
This publication is part of a collection on monitoring universal health coverage in ageing populations. The collection is based on a series of studies commissioned by the WHO Centre for Health Development (WHO Kobe Centre) to review the literature, to identify surveys with relevant questions, and to perform exploratory analysis of available survey data to assess the unmet health and social care needs of older populations with a specific regional focus. This executive summary provides a synthesis of the research findings across the regions. The full reports on the regional studies and their executive summaries have been published separately. The regional research reports are referenced in the document.
