Implementation practices in smokeless tobacco control

Overview

The analysis to develop this report covered all the Parties to the Convention as of early 2020.The study also reviewed implementation of Article 20 of the Convention for other – non-prevalence – indicators. Other key resources containing information on smokeless tobacco (SLT) use and policies to control it include the Global Progress Reports, World Health Organization (WHO) reports for 2017 and 2019 on the global tobacco epidemic and a report of the WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub on Smokeless Tobacco published in 2017.
