The malaria manual

Guidelines for the rapid assessment of social, economic and cultural aspects of malaria

Overview

The malaria manual introduces and describes anthropological research methods for the rapid assessment of social, economic and cultural information. It draws on discussions and outcomes of a meeting held in Baroda, India, in 1991, which was held to discuss the feasibility of undertaking rapid epidemiological, community and anthropological assessments of tropical diseases.
