Overview
This report summarized the trends, issues and typologies of long-term care financing design around the globe. The evidence presented in the report suggests unambiguous evidence of the weakening of traditional caregiving supports, which gives rise to a thread of unmet needs around the world. Nether the family nor the market seem to spontaneously be able to revert the trends, which calls for the need of public intervention to finance and organize systems of care.WHO Team
