WHOの3つ全てのレベルでの勤務経験を持つ。WHO南アフリカのカントリーオフィスで健康情報・プロモーション担当官（2000～2006年）、コンゴのブラザビルにあるWHOアフリカ地域事務所では地域ディレクターのスピーチライターを務めた（2016～2019年）。

2019年にWHO神戸センターのコミュニケーション・コンサルタントに着任。2022年までリモートで勤務後、2023年11月に再着任。

南アフリカ・ローズ大学でジャーナリズムの学士号、ウィットウォーターズランド大学で公衆衛生学修士号（専門は社会・行動変容コミュニケーション）を取得。保険システム研究に12年間従事。
