背景

医療・社会的ケアにかかわる満たされていないニーズの測定・把握・モニタリングは、世界のユニバーサル・ヘルス・カバレッジ達成に向けた進展を加速するために重要です。WHO神戸センターはこれまでに高齢者層に焦点を当てた未充足ニーズに関する世界的な調査を実施してきました。次のステップとして、WHO地域レベルで高齢者の未充足ニーズに関する利用可能なデータと情報を検討しています。

目標

利用可能なデータと情報を使用して、高齢者の満たされていない医療と社会的ケアのニーズを各WHO地域のレベルで測定する可能性について、エビデンスに基づく評価を提供すること。

研究手法

このテーマに関する専門知識と当該地域に関する知識を備えた研究チームが公募選考により選抜され、割り当てられたWHO地域ごとに、それぞれ文献のシステマティックレビュー、利用可能な調査データの特定、および当該地域の加盟国１つ以上について、調査データの二次解析を実施しています。この研究は、WHO神戸センターの先行研究である、グローバルな システマティックレビューとメタ分析および 83か国を対象とした調査データの二次解析に基づいています。各研究チームは、WHO神戸センターの担当者および各WHO地域事務局の担当者と協議しながら研究を進めています。なお、WHOアメリカ地域については、同地域事務局の保健医療制度とサービスの分析、監視、評価の専門家との協議にもとづき、本研究を実施する代わりに、同地域事務局の関連部局が直接WHO神戸センターに関連情報を提供しています。2024年6月10～11日には、すべての研究チーム代表とWHO地域事務局ならびにWHO本部の各担当者との間で会議が開催され、研究の進捗状況などが話し合われました。
